Measures to support accessibility
California Association of Nonprofits (CalNonprofits) takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of CalNonprofits:
- Accessibility is a priority for us and we aim for 100% WCAG 2.1 AA conformance. We strive to provide alt text for every image on our website, but there may be some images that remain lacking. We plan to add an accessibility widget shortly after our May 13th 2024 launch date and will continue to improve accessibility.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. CalNonprofits is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
