Are you one of the 160,000 nonprofit staff struggling with student debt? Are your friends and colleagues burdened by student debt?

Are you ready to take action and have some fun too?

Across California, borrowers and advocates are uniting for the Free My Future Week of Action on Student Loan Debt to demand consumer protections against predatory student loan servicers and share resources that can offer immediate support for borrowers. As part of our work supporting nonprofits staff with student debt, we are participating in the Week of Action and encourage you to take action too.

What you can do during the Week of Action – December 2-7, 2019:

Monday, December 2 at 5pm (online/phone): Tele-Town Hall with Assemblymember Mark Stone, student debt rockstar Seth Frotman, NextGen Policy, and Student Debt Crisis, RSVP here.

Wednesday, December 4 in Pasadena: Assembly Select Committee on Student Debt hearing, and a FREE workshop for borrowers

Saturday, December 7 in Los Angeles: FREE Student Debt Summit with resource fair for borrowers, workshops and information sessions, and a comedy show starring Loni Love! BONUS: PLUS ONE society will offer registered guests that currently have student debt multiple opportunities to enter for a chance to win a cash prize ranging from $250 - $2,500.
