• PPP Flexibility Act - passed June 10 (Joint statement with SBA and Treasury department with clear outline of new provisions)
• Small Business Administration (SBA) COVID-19 Relief Funds, including Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL)  (nonprofits are eligible, additional funding added to the PPP on April 27 - apply now!).

Resources for Individuals

• Student loan relief for borrowers - TICAS' resource page. NEW as of Friday, March 27: student debt borrowers with federal direct loans will automatically be enrolled in a special forbearance program through September 30, 2020. You will not be required to make payments on your loan(s) during this time, no interest or penalties will accrue, and these months will count toward the 120 payments required to qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
• The state has waived the one-week waiting period for those unemployed or disabled as a result of the coronavirus.
• If your employer has reduced your hours or shut down operations due to COVID-19, you can file an Unemployment Insurance claim immediately. Independent contractors may qualify for Federal Disaster Unemployment Insurance.
• Individuals who are unable to work due to having or being exposed to COVID-19 (certified by a medical professional) can file a Disability Insurance claim immediately.
• Californians who are unable to work because they are caring for an ill or quarantined family member with COVID-19 (certified by a medical professional) can file a Paid Family Leave claim
• TSA will allow use of driver’s licenses expiring March 1, 2020 as acceptable ID at airport checkpoints for 1 year after the expiration date, plus 60 days
• Request a 90-day extension of your driver’s license or state identification card
• State Postpones Tax Deadlines Until July 15 Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic (for individuals and businesses)
