The California legislature recently added an additional $1.5 billion in funding to the California Relief Grant program for small businesses and nonprofit organizations, and the Office of the Small Business Advocate has announced new funding rounds for grants of $5,000 - $25,000:
Round 7: August 3 through September 16
This is a closed round for prior applicants who have not yet been selected and are currently on the waiting list. No new applications will be accepted in this round.
Round 8: August 27 through September 8
For eligible nonprofit arts and cultural institutions only. Eligible organizations who have not received any funding from the program in any other round must complete a new application, even if they already applied in Rounds 1, 2, 5, or 6; eligible organizations that applied in Round 4 but did not receive funding do not need to reapply.
