As an advocacy organization dedicated to supporting, defending, and building the strength of the 501c3 public charitable sector, CalNonprofits welcomes allies of all types (government, for profit, individuals, and other types of nonprofits) to join us. Each member strengthens our collective voice and advances policies that support California’s nonprofits. However, when it comes to the power of the membership vote, only 501c3 organizations may participate. Thank you ALL for your support of our collective work!
Review the membership dues levels below, determine which is right for you, and then just click “Join Now.” From there you can pay by credit card, or request an invoice and then mail us a check. Membership dues are affordable and designed to be inclusive for organizations of all budget size. And our member benefits are extensive – check them out!

Nonprofits and Community Foundations
Affordable dues on a sliding scale are determined by your operating budget for the current year.

| $251K – $1M | $225 |
| $1.1M – $4.9M | $450 |
| $5M – $9.9M | $750 |
| $10M + | $950 |
| Champion/Bronze | $1,500 |
| Champion/Silver | $2,500 |
| Champion/Gold | $5,000 |
Grantmaking Foundations
Membership dues are based on the value of the grants and gifts awarded in the previous year. Foundations based outside of California may choose the category that fits the amount given in California in the previous year.

Individual Community Members

Associate (For-profit Businesses & Government Entities)
For-profit businesses can support our advocacy work and promote their products and services to nonprofits through an Associate Membership. Businesses are listed in our Professional Directory and can select up to three categories that will help nonprofit professionals find that listing. Become a strong ally of our advocacy work by joining at the champion level.
